MPIF is proud to celebrate its 62nd year of the PM Design Excellence Award Competition program. We are excited to showcase our MPIF member PM parts fabricators whose submissions demonstrate the advantages of PM. The winning parts will be on display in the Exhibit Hall, following the Awards Program.

Outstanding Paper Award

Recipient(s) will be recognized during the Opening General Session on Friday, June 26.

Howard I. Sanderow Outstanding Technical Paper Award (formerly the Outstanding Technical Paper Award) recognizes authors of manuscripts for excellence in scientific and technical written communications; to enhance the quality of technology transfer in the PM literature; and to enhance and promote the science and technology which is fundamental to powder metallurgy products, processes and materials.

The Metal AM Outstanding Technical Paper Award was established in 2018. The purposes of this award shall be to recognize authors of manuscripts for excellence in scientific and technical written communications; to enhance the quality of technology transfer in the AM literature; and to enhance and promote the science and technology which is fundamental to additively manufactured powder metallurgy products, processes and materials.

The APMI International "Excellence in Metallography Award" was created in order to recognize the individual(s) responsible for metallography used to support and provide evidence for the ideas set forth in a conference technical paper.

Recipient(s) will be recognized during the Opening General Session on Friday, June 26.

The designation of “Outstanding Poster” is awarded to posters presented at the annual PowderMet and AMPM conferences, that are deemed to be exceptional by the Poster Program Awards Committee.
