Technical Sessions

The technical sessions are forums to review original and unpublished work addressing recent advances in the full spectrum of powder metallurgy & particulate materials technologies and publicize recent work contributing to the state of the art and/or discussing emerging areas of interest. All submissions should clearly outline the results of the latest research, innovations, or improvements in PM processing or products.

All accepted abstracts will require a manuscript submitted to MPIF prior to presentation at the conference.

The Metal Powder Industries Federation (MPIF) presents the largest global powder metallurgy (PM) and particulate materials event of the year.  From June 20-23, 2027, the PM industry will come together in Buffalo, NY where two conferences will be sintered into one event!

The PowderMet2027/AMPM2027 conferences are the primary source for metal powder technology transfer and is host to the largest annual North American exhibit showcasing leading suppliers of metal powders, particulate materials, and metal additive manufacturing (AM)/3D printing process equipment, powders, and products. This meeting is the premier conference in this field and draws participants from industry, government laboratories and academic institutions. The conference will consist of a keynote speech; oral and poster technical presentations; industry awards; and an exhibition demonstrating new concepts and equipment.
