AMPM2017—Metal Additive Manufacturing Conference Program & Registration Available

The program for the fourth annual Additive Manufacturing (AM) with Powder Metallurgy (PM) conference, AMPM2017, is available online and registration is now open. Featuring worldwide industry experts presenting on the latest developments in the fast-growing field of metal additive manufacturing, the conference will be held June 13–15, 2017, at the Bellagio Hotel, Las Vegas, Nevada.

International Powder Metallurgy & Particulate Materials Conference and Registration Opens

The North American conference on powder metallurgy (PM) and particulate materials has launched its 2017 program and registration for POWDERMET2017. The International Conference on Powder Metallurgy and Particulate Materials will feature over 200 worldwide PM industry experts presenting on PM, particulate materials, and metal additive manufacturing at the Bellagio Hotel, Las Vegas, Nevada, from June 13 to 16, 2017.

NSF Student Grant Program to Support Metal Powder Industry

The National Science Foundation has announced the approval of a grant program to support 40 students from U.S. institutions to attend POWDERMET2017 (International Conference on Powder Metallurgy & Particulate Materials) and AMPM2017 (Additive Manufacturing with Powder Metallurgy) in Las Vegas, June 13–16. The awards will cover the full conference registration fee (including the opening and closing events and two luncheons) and a three-night hotel accommodation in double occupancy. Any travel-related expenses are covered by the student or his/her institution.

Powder Metallurgy Machinability Seminar Program Available

Registration has opened for the Powder Metallurgy (PM) Machinability Seminar, which will be held April 4–5, 2017, at the Penn Stater Conference Center Hotel, State College, Pa.  

 

This seminar focuses on improving company operations in terms of higher-quality parts, reduced costs, and greater profits. The seminar will feature programming focusing on fundamentals critical to increasing productivity and efficiency.
