To be held March 5–7, 2018, MIM2018 is a global conference and tabletop exhibition that highlights advances in the powder injection molding (PIM) industry. The 2017 Howard I. Sanderow Outstanding Technical Paper Award has been selected and the authors will be officially recognized during the Industry Luncheon to be held during POWDERMET2018 in San Antonio, June 17–20. This year's winning paper is "Deformation Processed Al/Al2Ca Nano-filamentary Composite Conductors" by Charles Czahor, Trevor Riedemann, Alan Russell, and Iver Anderson, FAPMI, Ames Laboratory/Iowa State University. The paper was selected from among the highly qualified manuscripts that were presented at the POWDERMET2017 conference in Las Vegas and critically evaluated for the prestigious award.
