Metal Powder Industries Federation Cancels WorldPM2020

WorldPM2020/AMPM2020/Tungsten2020 cancelled due to pandemic

Metal Powder Industries Federation (MPIF) announced today the cancellation of the co-located conferences WorldPM2020, the World Congress on Powder Metallurgy & Particulate Materials; AMPM2020, Additive Manufacturing with Powder Metallurgy; and Tungsten2020, the International Conference on Tungsten, Refractory & Hardmaterials that were scheduled to take place June 27–July 1, 2020, in Montréal, Canada.

International Tungsten, Refractory & Hardmaterials Conference Program Now Available

The 10th International Conference on Tungsten, Refractory & Hardmaterials (Tungsten2020) program is now available. Since the conference was last held in 2014, explosive developments have been made in numerous fields, notably metal additive manufacturing (AM) using refractory metals and alloys, and their carbides. Explore the latest developments in Montréal, Canada, June 27–July 1, 2020, at the Montréal Convention Center.

International Tungsten, Refractory & Hardmaterials Conference Call for Papers

The program committee for 10th International Conference on Tungsten, Refractory & Hardmaterials (Tungsten2020) has issued a “Call for Papers.” Refractory metals (W, Mo, Re, Ta, Nb, Os, Ir, Hf), their alloys and composites (including hardmaterials and cermets), are a unique family of materials. This conference seeks to address recent developments in the refractory and hardmetals field and will encompass refractory and hardmetal processing, microstructure, properties, and applications. Co-located with the World Congress on Powder Metallurgy & Particulate Materials (WorldPM2020) and the Additive Manufacturing with Powder Metallurgy Conference (AMPM2020), this promises to be the largest global PM event of the year. All three co-located events will be held in Montréal, Canada, June 27–July 1, 2020, at the Montréal Convention Center.
