Explore San Antonio’s Riverwalk with POWDERMET2018

San Antonio’s RiverwalkGrab your cowboy boots and blue jeans and saunter down to Texas, because POWDERMET2018, the leading North American powder metallurgy (PM) and particulate materials conference, begins in less than two weeks in vibrant San Antonio, June 17–20, on the famous River Walk. The co-located conference Additive Manufacturing with Powder Metallurgy (AMPM2018) will kick-off at the same time.

What can you expect?

  • Keynote Speaker Casey Selecman, associate director, advisory services, IHS Markit, will give his presentation “Automotive Outlook: Evolution or Revolution?”.
  • AMPM2018 has added an entire extra day of technical sessions over previous years. Attendees of POWDERMET2018 or AMPM2018 can attend sessions for either conference.
  • For the second time in two years, the exhibit hall is completely sold out. Over 110 exhibitors will feature the latest equipment, powders, products, services, all related to powder metallurgy, metal additive manufacturing, and particulate materials.
  • Can’t decide between a technical session or the exhibit hall? This year you can make every session on your list and visit the exhibit hall during the PM Evening Alehouse. Sponsored by the Powder Metallurgy Equipment Association, this Monday evening event provides 90 minutes of non-compete time for attendees to grab a brew and network with exhibitors.
  • Grant TNT: Talk ‘N Technology sessions are special poster presentations for National Science Foundation (NSF) grant-winning students to present their work. These sessions will be in the rear of the exhibit hall. Additionally, NSF students will have resumes available on-site on the Student Job Board and in the conference mobile app. Don’t miss the opportunity to meet with these rising stars of the PM industry.

POWDERMET2018 and AMPM2018 are the best conferences in North American to meet with PM and metal AM parts manufacturers, powder and feedstock suppliers, equipment and service providers, and consumers.
