The Senior Process Engineer, Metal Binder Jetting (MBJ), leads the development and optimization of additive manufacturing processes, ensuring scalable, cost-effective production and consistent material quality. This hands-on role supports new product introduction and operations, drives process improvements, and provides technical leadership. Experience in MBJ or sintering based processes is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead development and optimization of binder jetting processes across printing, curing, depowdering, and sintering, including hands-on troubleshooting
• Own process validation, qualification, and transfer to stable production
• Support production development, including setup, parameter tuning, scaling, and standardization
• Lead DFAM, feasibility reviews, and scalable design guideline development
• Drive improvements in yield, cost, throughput, and process capability
• Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and customers on technical development
Required Skills & Education:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Materials, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
• 5–10+ years of experience in additive manufacturing, powder metallurgy, or sintering processes, including hands-on process development and production support
• Experience with Metal Binder Jetting preferred; strong expertise in sintering, thermal processing, and material science
• Knowledge of powder behavior, dimensional control, shrinkage, and distortion management
• Strong background in DOE, process validation, root cause analysis, and scaling processes to production
• Familiarity with quality systems such as ISO or IATF
