Rodney Brennen Named APMI International 2026 Fellow
APMI International's most prestigious award recognizes APMI members for their significant contributions to the goals, purpose, and mission of the organization as well as for a high level of expertise in the technology, practice, or business of the industry. The 2026 Fellow Award recipient will receive elevation to Fellow status at WorldPM2026: World Congress on Powder Metallurgy & Particulate Materials. The 2026 recipient is Rodney Brennen, Metco Industries, Inc.
Rodney is a seasoned manufacturing executive with over three decades of experience in the PM industry, blending deep technical expertise with strategic leadership to drive sustained organizational growth. He is known for his hands-on leadership, commitment to continuous improvement, and dedication to building strong teams and stronger communities.
Rodney is actively engaged in advancing PM through workforce development and his work with various professional affiliations. He contributes to regional manufacturing initiatives and has collaborated with local school districts and technical programs to promote careers in manufacturing among students. He has been active locally with the APMI West Penn Chapter, from its secretary to chair, and completed two terms on the APMI International Board of Directors. Rodney was a member of the Powder Metallurgy Parts Association Board of Directors, where he became president, prior to becoming the Metal Powder Industries Federation president.
Rodney has always supported APMI through his participation in many events and membership while encouraging those around him to do the same.
