Technical Session at POWDERMET2019

Technical Sessions

Regular technical sessions include papers of original and unpublished work addressing recent advances in the full spectrum of powder metallurgy & particulate materials technologies. The technical sessions are forums to review and publicize recent work contributing to the state of the art and/or discussing emerging areas of interest. All submissions should clearly outline the results of the latest research, innovations, or improvements in PM processing or products.

Categories include:

  • Design & Modeling of PM Materials, Components & Processes
  • Particulate Production
  • General Compaction & Forming Processes
  • Powder Injection Molding (Metals & Ceramics)
  • Pre-Sintering & Sintering
  • Secondary Operations
  • Materials
  • Refractory Metals, Carbides & Ceramics
  • Advanced Particulate Materials & Processes
  • Material Properties
  • Test & Evaluation
  • Applications
  • Management Issues
All accepted abstracts will require manuscripts prior to presentation at the conference.
Poster Program

Scott Davis, Poster Chairman
Hoeganaes Corporation

This presentation format is suitable for authors who wish to report important work in-progress—research that catches the cutting edge of powder metallurgy or particulate technology.

The poster format lends itself to reporting preliminary research results which may have large potential for industrial development, or simply where this alternate form of presentation is deemed more attractive. Abstracts submitted for the poster program will not be considered for presentation in the general technical sessions.

All poster program participants will be eligible for Poster Awards. Manuscript submission is encouraged but not mandatory.

Other Conference Activities
  • A general session in planned focusing on the international PM industry and topical issues.

  • A trade exhibit featuring international suppliers of metal powders, components, equipment, and related services.

  • Special events, luncheons, receptions, and other functions will be planned.

Three Conferences Sintered Into One Global Event!

WorldPM2020 presents the largest global powder metallurgy (PM) and particulate materials event of the year, and it only happens once every six years in North America. From June 27 through July 1, 2020, join the PM industry in Montreal, Canada, for three co-located conferences underneath one roof!

Expect

  • the largest global exhibit on PM, particulate materials, metal additive manufacturing, and tungsten, refractory and hardmaterials equipment, powders, and products;
  • global industry leaders presenting the latest R&D from around the world;
  • networking events and opportunities;
  • and more!
