Mechanical/3D Printing Application Engineer

Seeking position as a Mechanical/3D Printing Application Engineer
Graduated with MS in mechanical engineering from the University of Louisville under the guidance of Dr. Kunal Kate and Dr. Sundar Atre. Possesses 4+ years of experience as a mechanical engineer in the industrial and R&D roles combined.

Adept in additive manufacturing technologies (FFF, SLA & LPBF), 3D modeling and finite element analysis. 1.5 years of R&D experience in the material and process development for additive manufacturing technologies and 3 years of industrial experience in the design and finite element analysis of gas turbine compressor components. Six Sigma Green Belt certified.

Carried out multidisciplinary research to fabricate low melting metals using a benchtop FFF 3D printer in a timely, cost-efficient, and environment-friendly manner. This work received a grant from the “National Science Foundation” and was presented at the AMPM2017 conference. The work has been published in the AMPM2017 conference proceedings journal and has been submitted to two prestigious journals for review.
