VI.  What is the Metal Powder Industries Federation (MPIF) and how does it relate to the PM Industry?

 MPIF is a not-for-profit trade association formed by the PM industry to promote the advancement of the metal powder producing and consuming industries.  It is a federation of trade associations all concerned with some aspect of PM, metal powders or particulate materials.  Membership in any of the trade associations is on a company or corporate basis – individuals cannot belong. 

 Companies that belong to any of the trade associations have a direct interest commercially in the welfare of their respective industries and in the advancement of PM and particulate materials, both as a technology  and as a business investment.
