European Powder Metallurgy Association

Formed in Brussels in 1989, the EPMA has three key missions: to promote and develop PM technology in Europe,. to represent the European PM industry within Europe and internationally, and to develop the future of PM. The EPMA serves all types of member organisations, from component, metal powder, and equipment producers to end users, research centres, universities, and individuals who have an interest in PM.

The Laser Institute of America (LIA) is the international society for laser applications and safety. Their mission is to foster lasers, laser applications, and laser safety worldwide.

The Center for Innovative Sintered Products

The Center for Innovative Sintered Products (CISP) at Penn State is a true partnership between universities, industry, government agencies and professional and trade associations to develop cutting-edge technology for the processing of sintered materials. CISP was formed as an outgrowth of the PM Lab and other campus-wide efforts to focus Penn State resources on this important industry. The Center is headquartered at University Park, but shares tasks with engineers and scientists from universities and companies across the U.S. and abroad.

SAE International

The Society of Automotive Engineers has more than 90,000 members—engineers, business executives, educators, and students from more than 97 countries—who share information and exchange ideas for advancing the engineering of mobility systems. SAE is a one-stop resource for standards development, events, and technical information and expertise used in designing, building, maintaining, and operating self-propelled vehicles for use on land or sea, in air or space.

ASTM International

ASTM International is one of the largest voluntary standards development organizations in the world—a trusted source for technical standards for materials, products, systems, and services. Known for their high technical quality and market relevancy, ASTM International standards have an important role in the information infrastructure that guides design, manufacturing and trade in the global economy.

Powder Injection Moulding International

The International Thermal Spray Association is a professional trade association dedicated to expanding the use of thermal spray technologies for the benefit of industry and society. Founded in 1948, and once known as Metallizing Service Contractors, the association has been closely tied to almost all major advances in thermal spray technology, equipment and materials, industry events, education, standards and market development in North and South America.
