LEAD ENGINEER, POWDER METALLURGY

Amastan Technologies, a high-tech start-up focused on the production of materials for applications involving additive manufacturing, LED lighting and displays, lithium ion batteries and semiconductor polishing. We are actively seeking team members who bring a strong work ethic and personal integrity to our dedicated fast paced dynamic environment.

Amastan is searching for a Lead Engineer, Powder Metallurgy to join our team of engineers and technicians that are focused on metals-based powders for additive manufacturing. The candidate will have a broad range of oversight to lead new material projects as well as technology, process and development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

As an integrated team member this position has wide-ranging responsibilities focused on the development of materials used in additive manufacturing and other powder processes.

It is expected that the person in this position will have a solid foundation of additive manufacturing powder knowledge that translates into product and process development.

Qualifications

Amastan Technologies located North of Boston is commercializing a proprietary plasma-based materials processing technology for the production of nanomaterials and nanostructured materials. Amastan’s process offers high efficiency, high process yields, and quality materials.

POWDER METALLURGIST

LUXFER MAGTECH is a global leader in the manufacturing of magnesium powders and specialty products. We have an opening at our Saxonburg, PA plant (Greater Pittsburgh Area) for a Powder Metallurgist / Engineer.

Primary function is to design, develop and improve process technology to bring new products to commercial success and improve costs and profitability of existing product lines. This position will develop proposals and executes technical projects.
