Senior Materials and Process Engineer for Metal Powders

Amastan Technologies, a high-tech start-up focused on the production of materials for applications involving additive manufacturing, LED lighting and displays, lithium ion batteries and semiconductor polishing. We are actively seeking team members who bring a strong work ethic and personal integrity to our dedicated fast paced dynamic environment.

Amastan is searching for a Senior Materials and Process Engineer to join our team of engineers and technicians that are focused on metals-based powders for additive manufacturing. The candidate will have a broad range of oversight to lead new material projects as well as technology, process and development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
As an integrated team member this position has wide-ranging responsibilities focused on the development of materials used in additive manufacturing and other powder processes. Main responsibilities of this position include:

It is expected that the person in this position will have a solid foundation of additive manufacturing powder knowledge that translates into product and process development.

Qualifications

Amastan Technologies located North of Boston is commercializing a proprietary plasma-based materials processing technology for the production of nanomaterials and nanostructured materials. Amastan’s process offers high efficiency, high process yields, and quality materials.
