Metal Additive Manufacturing Conference Seeks Technical Papers

The program committee for the Additive Manufacturing with Powder Metallurgy Conference (AMPM2021) has issued a “Call for Papers & Posters” covering the latest developments in the fast-growing field of metal additive manufacturing (AM). The AMPM conference has grown significantly since its debut in 2014 as the only conference focused on metal AM. The 2021 conference will be held June 20–23 in Orlando, Florida, at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin.

PM and Metal AM of Titanium Conference Program Available

The program for the conference PMTi2019, Powder Metallurgy and Additive Manufacturing of Titanium, is now available. PMTi2019 will host global experts on powder metallurgy (PM) and metal additive manufacturing (AM) September 24–27, 2019, in Salt Lake City, Utah at the University of Utah. This is the first time that the conference will be held in the United States.

University of Michigan Awarded Metal AM Grant

The U.S. Department of Energy’s Advanced Research Projects Agency-Energy, or ARPA-E, awarded Michigan State University a $2.3 million grant to deepen its growing expertise in additive manufacturing (AM) and high-efficiency power generation.

Celebrating 5 Years of the AMPM Conference

Five year’s ago, the Metal Powder Industries Federation (MPIF) launched a North American industry first—a conference completely dedicated to metal additive manufacturing (AM). This year’s AMPM2019: Additive Manufacturing with Powder Metallurgy conference, June 23–26, 2019, at the Sheraton Grand in Phoenix, promises to be the best yet, and the enormous growth of the industry reflects in the ever-expanding program and networking events.
