International Powder Metallurgy & Particulate Materials Conference and Registration Opens

The North American conference on powder metallurgy (PM) and particulate materials has launched its 2017 program and registration for POWDERMET2017. The International Conference on Powder Metallurgy and Particulate Materials will feature over 200 worldwide PM industry experts presenting on PM, particulate materials, and metal additive manufacturing at the Bellagio Hotel, Las Vegas, Nevada, from June 13 to 16, 2017.

This year's conference opening general session will feature the keynote presentation "Navigating the Metal Additive Manufacturing Landscape" with speaker Todd Grimm, T.A. Grimm & Associates, which will blend industry updates, trends, and insights to cut through the hype on when, where, and why metal additive manufacturing makes sense.

Over three days, full-conference attendees will have access to:

  • Technical sessions
  • Over 100 exhibitors
  • Special interest programs
  • Posters
  • Evening networking events
  • PM industry awards luncheons

"This year's conference hosts a packed technical program with the latest innovations in PM, particulate materials, and metal additive manufacturing," stated Dan Messina, technical manager, Metal Powder Industries Federation (MPIF). "We are also excited that the National Science Foundation has sponsored a grant to encourage students to attend the conference to learn and network."

All full-conference POWDERMET2017 attendees will also have access to the co-located AMPM2017: Additive Manufacturing with Powder Metallurgy conference.

POWDERMET2017 is sponsored by the MPIF and APMI International.
