Individual Topic Modules
Each MPIF e-learning course consists of one module on a specific topic area that is designed to be completed in approximately 30 minutes; because you’re in control of the pace at which you cover the material, this time can vary.
These modules are brand-new programs custom designed to take full advantage of the Web-based medium: with audio narration, colorful graphics, many illuminating animations, and interactive navigation capabilities.
Simple Registration Process
When you complete the registration form for your chosen course, you’ll receive a confirming e-mail containing a password that you’ll need for logging in to take the course.
Once you begin the module, you proceed through it at your own pace. You’ll have a full 24 hours during which you can complete the course; you may stop and resume at will during this period.
Completion Certificate
Each MPIF e-learning module includes two brief, enjoyable quizzes reviewing the material just covered; once you’ve achieved passing scores in these (70% or better) you’ll complete the course and be presented a personalized online Certificate of Completion that you can print immediately or save to print at a later time.
System Requirements
These modules run within your Web browser and are presented in the popular Flash format. Virtually all browsers already include the Flash plug-in; if yours does not, you can click here to download it from the Adobe Web site.
Because the course content is presented through audio narration, supported by visuals, your computer must be equipped with a sound card. A high-speed Internet connection is highly recommended, and the material is best viewed at a monitor set to a resolution of 800 x 600.
